  1. Creating textures for my original world “Hortensia”

Around this time, besides Japanese-distributed packs such as Halcyon Days, Tender World, and cocricot, it also became popular among Minecraft builders to create your own textures under the naming style “(creator name) TEX.” It all started as making a resource pack for my own world.

  2. Hasukko Addon v1.0 released

Released only the half-timber texture as an addon/resource pack. This became the prototype for MiniaTuria’s timber-frame wall design.

  3. Hortensia Addon “Windows” released

Released windows I didn’t plan to use in HortensiaTEX, plus fences as a little bonus (even though I planned to use them).

  4. The beginning of the MiniaTuria project

The two founders split the work and decided: “Let’s draw cute miniature-style textures that match the then-popular Minecraft 1.7.10 resource pack cocricot, so people can build beautifully with it!” I also decided to pour everything I learned from making Hortensia textures into this project (and ended the Hortensia project).

  5. MiniaTuria Timber-Frames Pack released

With the intention of eventually releasing the full MiniaTuria package, I first released a resource pack containing only half-timber walls. A dedicated download website was also set up.

  6. Hasukko Outfit Pack released

On a whim, I created and released a Christmas-themed armor pack (later re-released on this website on Aug 17, 2021).

  8. First experiments with 3D model creation

After encountering Minecraft 1.12.2, I learned about 3D textures for the first time. This is when the Special Cars were created.

  9. MiniaTuria 1.7.10 supporters gather

The project restarted as a solo effort by Hasukko. Three helpers joined as supporters and helped at an almost co-development level. We tested textures and builds on a dedicated “supporter server.”

  10. Sample builds by MiniaTuria 1.7.10 testers begin

With the release approaching, in addition to the three supporters, I invited eleven builders to create sample builds. Thank you so, so much for all the help!

  11. MiniaTuria 1.7.10 released

Distribution began together with a block sample world that included tester-built sample structures (Cocturi builds).

  12. “Cocturi Craft” held alongside the release

To celebrate the simultaneous release with cocricot 1.12.2, a building event was co-hosted together with cocricot.

  13. This website is born

With the need for a download page and a catalog, this website opened. To use the MiniaTuria textures in the 1.7.10 resource pack era, you needed to know the corresponding block metadata—so a metadata list (catalog) was essential.

  14. Build multiplayer server “Hayana Server” adopts MiniaTuria 1.7.10

Hasukko also participated as a member.

  15. LinTEX for MiniaTuria 1.7.10 appears

Collaborated with LinTEX, a creator who had been releasing cute textures as an addon. A version of LinTEX that supports MiniaTuria 1.7.10 metadata and biomes was created.

  16. XenoTex (SNOW addon) compatible with MiniaTuria 1.7.10 appears

A compatible version of XenoTex (SNOW addon)—already known for its Christmas illumination textures—was released to support MiniaTuria 1.7.10 metadata. It was used for Hayana Server’s Christmas project and became a big hit. Hasukko later made a video showcasing the Christmas area from that time.

  17. The COVID era begins. I started moving toward realizing a new MiniaTuria development concept using 3D models.

  18. During continued stay-at-home life, 3D models such as a gramophone, piano, armor, and carriage were completed one after another.

  20. MiniaTuria 1.12.2 released

The long-awaited first mod pack featuring 3D models! Since it still hadn’t reached the full scope originally planned for the first release, it was released as a “test version” pre-release. The announcement video was published on Apr 29.

  23. MiniaTuria build story video series “MiniaTura Author's builds.” begins

Renamed my YouTube channel to “Hasukko’s Atelier,” and started a video series showcasing builds using MiniaTuria 1.12.2.

  24. MiniaTuria 1.12.2 chosen as the texture pack for the Minecraft Building Community’s 5th Building Study Session

With a tropical resort theme, two islands served as the stage—one for nature builds and one for city builds.

  25. “MiniaTuria Challenge” begins

A screenshot-based building event where people share builds using MiniaTuria on Twitter/X. The first theme was “Roses.” Only for the first event, the tag was the longer “MiniaTuriaBuildChallenge”… While following the “1-hour theme build” style that spread in the Minecraft building community (like “OneCra” and “OneCocri”), building 3D blocks with hammer gimmicks under a 1-hour limit felt too harsh—so we set the guideline to about one week instead.

  26. MiniaTuria CIT Pack released

To let players on newer Minecraft versions experience 3D MiniaTuria, I released a decorative item pack using a custom item mod. One benefit was that it could be released faster than creating a block-adding mod.

  27. Bedrock Edition MiniaTuria Furniture released

My first attempt at turning MiniaTuria into a Bedrock Edition addon, driven by strong requests from overseas players. At the time, what addons could do was still very limited… Distribution has now ended, and it has been improved and re-released as MiniaTuria Survival.

  32. Bedrock Edition MiniaTuria Survival released

To move forward with a full Bedrock port of the Java 1.12.2 mod, I rebuilt the furniture addon that had already been released. First, I released a survival-focused version (with craft recipes), limiting the number of added blocks.

  33. This website is renewed

With Bedrock Edition (BE/PE) expansion in mind, the site structure was reorganized so that both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition could be presented equally. The public archive location for MiniaTuria Challenge was fully migrated from an external service to this website.

  34. MiniaTuria Legacy released

Due to security issues and the increasing hurdles around metadata packs, playing in the JE 1.7.10 environment has become more difficult. So I recreated the decorative blocks from the original resource-pack era MiniaTuria 1.7.10 as added blocks via a Fabric mod. Bringing the legacy of the very first MiniaTuria back to life!

  36. Bedrock Edition texture pack released

When preparing the Creative addon release, I quickly separated a resource pack for vanilla Minecraft blocks that is shared with the Survival addon. The contents still don’t fully catch up with the latest Minecraft blocks yet…

  37. Bedrock Edition MiniaTuria Creative released

An addon that finally answers the long-standing request: “Bring Java’s 3D MiniaTuria to Bedrock too!” It recreates even the behavior of the building-support tools, and also introduces new tools unique to Bedrock. There’s still a lot more to add, so I want to keep expanding it through future updates.
