The Mod “LotTweaks” by Lot

Good news for everyone playing MiniaTuria on Java Edition! You may already know this, but there is an extremely useful building-assist mod that allows you to easily pick blocks added by various mods using simple key controls. Its name is LotTweaks! 👀 It comes with many helpful features, such as extending the distance for block picking and placement.

One particularly impressive feature is block selection: while holding a block in your hotbar, press and hold a specific key to bring up a floating ring of block variants in the air. You can rotate the ring and select a different block variant with ease.

The creator of this mod is Lot. For detailed specifications and features, be sure to check the description on the distribution page!

And now—here’s the main point of this article! There are configuration files that allow LotTweaks’ block selection features to work with MiniaTuria’s custom blocks. We’ll introduce them in the next section!

Blocks added by the MiniaTuria mod can also be used seamlessly with LotTweaks by applying these config files!

MiniaTuria adds more than 4,000 blocks—an enormous amount of data. A MiniaTuria user, Usasa, voluntarily organized all of this block data for LotTweaks and shared it as configuration files. Thank you so much! 🙏 Config files are available for both MiniaTuria 1.12.2 and MiniaTuria Legacy!

For full details, please check the distribution page. When using MiniaTuria, make sure to follow the terms of use for both the mod and the config files—and enjoy building! 🙌
