“XenoTex” now compatible with MiniaTuria 🎄
The XenoTex (SNOW addon), known for its charming Christmas illuminations and snowy scenery textures, now has a version compatible with MiniaTuria—just in time for the winter season!
All textures in XenoTex remain unchanged, but their appearance method has been adjusted to use specific biomes (sunflower_plains / small_mountains).
Some textures have had their ID metadata adjusted to ensure compatibility with MiniaTuria, so please refer to the block list image for details. (The large image included in the distribution pack is the easiest to read.)
Use MiniaTuria, XenoTex, and LinTEX all in the same world
One of the key features of MiniaTuria 1.7.10 is its biome system. This system is designed so that even if the biome used for interior decorations or windows is changed, the same roof textures will still appear. This allows for relatively flexible building using various biomes without worrying about unwanted roof texture changes.
Another advantage of this biome system is that it allows MiniaTuria textures and external addons to be used together, while still displaying textures from both.
For XenoTex, the biomes "sunflower_plains" and "small_mountains" have been assigned, so its textures do not overlap with other MiniaTuria biome textures—allowing both to be used simultaneously.
And even more! LinTEX, which has also been updated for MiniaTuria compatibility, is assigned its own dedicated biome, so it won't conflict with XenoTex either! In other words, you can now fully enjoy MiniaTuria, XenoTex, and LinTEX all within the same world ✨️
