FAQ : MiniaTuria Legacy(Fabric 1.20.1)

Questions About Installation & Settings

Continuity is installed, but the textures don’t connect
  • Sodium and Indium, which are required by Continuity, may not be installed
  • Installing Sodium alone is not enough for Continuity to work. Indium is also required
  • For more details, check out this guide → “How to Install Fabric and Continuity”

Questions About Gameplay

Can I play in Survival Mode?
  • Nope... This Mod is purely for enjoying creative building
Are there blocks that still use vanilla textures?
  • Actually, yes… Some vanilla block textures are not yet included, so please wait a little longer 🙏 (as of August 2025)
What does “vanilla blocks” mean?
  • “Vanilla” means the original, unmodified state. In Minecraft, it usually refers to the default blocks and textures that come with the game
The leafy effect on blocks is causing heavy load and lag. Is there a way to disable this effect?
  • No, there isn’t
  • You can adjust the effect range of the leafy blocks.
-: decrease range   ^: increase range
  • However, this range setting resets every time you log into a world. This is because there’s no config file system implemented. If your screen freezes due to the load, please hold down - each time you log in to set the range to 0…
  • To play MiniaTuria Legacy, please allocate more than 4 GB of memory to Minecraft instead of the default 2 GB. If you don’t know how to change this setting, check out this guide → “How to Install Fabric and Continuity”
Using the “MiniaTuria Hammer,” I can’t get the pillow/sheet texture of the “Bed Block” or the frills of the “Awning Tent (Half)”
  • The “MiniaTuria Hammer” has not only normal left/right click, but also left/right click while sneaking (holding the Shift key). You can use this to trigger special changes for the “Bed Block” and “Awning Tent” too!

Other Questions

Will there be a Forge version?
  • As of August 2025, there are no plans
  • This Mod is basically a remake of the old 1.7.10 version, so if there’s an environment where we can directly reuse the old CTM (Connected Textures), we’d like to consider porting it. Right now, that seems to be Continuity
  • Since official Continuity apparently works on Forge 1.20.1, we might port it someday!
